Maria Elena Adúriz, Psychologist, is a Clinical Psychologist from Buenos Aires-Argentina. She specializes in treating Children, Adolescent and Families, and works with assessment and treatment of Anxiety Disorders, ADD, Attachment Disorders, PTSD and Catastrophe Intervention using EMDR. She is dedicated to working, teaching and writing about intervention in childhood trauma. Since it's creation, she has been President of “EMDR-Humanitarian Assistance Program” in Argentina, directing field work, research and teaching in catastrophe and mass trauma She is a certified trainer of trainers by the EMDR Institute, and part of the EMDR - Ibero American team.

Eva Muenker-Kramer, Clinical psychologist and Psychotherapist (BT), has been trained in EMDR since 1998 and completed her trainer´s training in 2007. She is in private practice in Krems/Danube, Austria, and in the EMDR Institute Austria in Vienna (www.emdr-institut.at) , which offers EMDR trainings since 2003. She is lecturer, author, and trainer in psychotraumatology, traumatherapy, EMDR and disaster and crisis psychology for public health and emergency services, private institutions, the Austrian Academy of Psychology, the Danube University, and Webster University Vienna. She has been active since 2006 in a HAP project in Lviv/Ukraine and founder and project leader in a Council of Europe funded project "Training for Trainers“ to build up a network of Eastern European disaster and crisis psychologists. She has been head of the Austrian EMDR Association (www.emdr-netzwerk.at) since its founding in 2004  and the Austrian representative to EMDR Europe Association.

Hanne Hummel, Psychological Psychotherapist, has been trained in EMDR since 1996 and completed her Trainer's Training in 2007. She has been in clinical practice in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, since 1993.  In 1994 she co-founded the Psychotherapeutic Institute in the Park with her husband and colleague Raimund Dorr.  The Institute offers treatment for traumatized clients, and, in addition, education and supervision of clinicians who treat traumatized patients.  She co-founded the Board of the Swiss EMDR Association in 1998 and has been a board member ever since.  Her Institute has been offering trainings in EMDR in Switzerland since 1999, and Hanne has been head of the EMDR-Institute Switzerland since 2005.  www.emdr-institut.ch

Myriam Calero Ginares, MD, Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist, has been working as a clinician in Uruguay for 25 years.  She has been trained in CBT and is a member of the ISSTD (International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation).  She founded and is in charge of th Psychotraumatology Unit at the Psychiatric Hospital Vilardebo in Montevideao, Uruguay.  Currently, she is President of EMDR Uruguay and organizes trainings, conferences, and scientific activities.

 Silvia Guz, Psychologist and Psychotherapist, has been working as a clinician for 20 years in Brazil, specializing in the analytical approach, body psychotherapy and EMDR.  She presently combines theoretical knowledge and practical work focused on psychological trauma and its consequences. She is a Certified EMDR Therapist, Facilitator, Approved Consultant and Trainer in EMDR. She also currently holds the position of President of the EMDR Brazil, working together to organize and unite the EMDR therapists in Brazil and abroad, promoting conferences, scientific meetings, as well as the role of Brazil in the international EMDR community.

Steve Silver, PhD, is a psychologist who served as a Senior Trainer for the EMDR Institute and was the first Programs Chair for the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs.  A veteran of both the Marine Corps and the Army, he has worked with combat veterans and their families since 1972 and for 26 years was the director of an inpatient PTSD program for combat veterans.  Co-author (with Susan Roger, PhD) of "Light in the Heart of Darkness:  EMDR and the Treatment of War and Terrorism Survivors," he has over 50 publications to his credit.  He is the recipient of the Elizabeth Snyker Memorial Award, presented by EMDR HAP, the Ronald A. Martinez Memorial Award awarded by the EMDR Institute, and the Outstanding and Sustained Service Award awarded by the EMDR International Association.  Currently, he is the primary EMDR consultant to the US Army Empirically Validated Trauma Treatment Training Program where he has provided consultation to over 400 clinicians who work with military clients and their families.

Emre Konuk, MA, is a clinical psychologist in Istanbul, Turkey.  He received family therapy training at the Mental Research Institute (MRI), Brief Therapy Center, Palo Alto, California.  He is the president of the Institute for Behavioral Studies-Istanbul, president of EMDR Association and EMDR-HAP-Turkey, and general secretary of Couples and Family Therapy Association-Turkey. He was a board member of the Turkish Psychologists Association, Istanbul Branch from 1990-2002. At present he is a member of the ethics committee, Turkish Psychologists Association.  After the 1999 Marmara earthquake, Mr. Konuk was responsible for bringing EMDR-HAP and EMDR basic trainings to Turkey, where more than 600 professionals were trained in EMDR.  Over the years, he has participated in EMDR-HAP projects in Thailand, Palestine, Kenya, Lebanon and Iraq. His major concern is to establish EMDR as a major therapy approach in Turkey.

Susana G Uribe Ramirez, MA, is the Executive Director of EMDR Mexico, an EMDR Institute Facilitator, and an EMDR Ibero America approved consultant. In addition, she is a clinical psychotraumatologist for Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. She specializes in treating adult victims of trauma and complicated grief. She is a consultant in trauma, loss, and mourning processes, and an international lecturer on utilizing EMDR with trauma, loss and grief.

Sigmund Burzynski, Psychologist, is in private practice in Geelong, Australia. He completed the EMDR Basic Training in 1992 and became an Institute trainer in 1998. He has conducted trainings throughout Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and other major cities, and, internationally, in Hong Kong, Singapore and Jakarta. As a forensic psychologist for the Australian Department of Corrections, he was involved in the development of an Alternatives to Violence program for which he received an Australian award. His clinical specialties include the treatment of anxiety disorders, pain management, sexual dysfunction, anger management, performance enhancement, and dissociative disorders. Over the years he has been extensively involved in the supervision of psychologists and other health professionals.

Santiago Jacome, Clinical Psychologist, presently directs the work of Campus Grupal-Fundacion Salud Alternative para el Desarrollo in Quito, Ecuador. His background is in Group Psychotherapy and in Psychodrama, and he has served on the faculty of the Ecuadorian Psychodrama Association. He is a founding member of the Ecuadorian Society of Psychotherapy and on the faculty at Universidad Central del Ecuador. He is Vice President of EMDR Ecuador and coordinates the EMDR trainings in Ecuador.

Ruben Lescano, MD, is a psychiatrist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He specializes in assessment and treating complex and acute trauma and is a consultant on dissociation. He is Co-Founder and past President of EMDRIA Latinoamerica and is conducting EMDR research in complex trauma. He is a general coordinator of the first EMDR book written in Spanish, TRAUMA y EMDR, and author of a three volume book and several papers in trauma journals. He heads the Scientific EMDR and Neurobiology Area of Argentina Society of Psychotrauma (affiliated to ISTSS and ISSD), and is the Director of CIPSE.

Roy Kiessling, LISW, ACSW, completed his EMDR Basic training in 1995, became an EMDR Institute Facilitator in 1997, and a trainer for the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Projects in 2001.  Mr Kiessling's involvement in EMDR-HAP has taken him to Bangladesh, Poland, the Middle East and Russia.  Domestically, Roy has been the Senior Trainer for EMDR-HAP since 2001, not only in conducting trainings for EMDR-HAP but also in mentoring and training Trainers for EMDR-HAP.  In addition to his work with EMDRHAP, he has been a significant contributor of the EMDR Institute as the EMDR Institute Internet listserv moderator providing ongoing case consultation and education regarding EMDR basic protocols to a world-wide network of EMDR trained clinicians. In 2006, Roy received the Liz Synker Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award from EMDRHAP for his efforts in supporting the EMDR Community.

Masaya Ichii, MA, is the first Japanese speaking approved EMDR Institute trainer. He is a full professor of Hyogo University of Teacher Education, Graduate School of Clinical Psychology, Center for Developmental and Clinical Psychology. Trauma Section. He has been in clinical practice for more than 20 years, specializing in assessment and treatment of acute and chronic PTSD, phobias, stress, anxiety disorders, and depression. He is currently president of the EMDR Association Japan, a board member of Japanese Brief Psychotherapy Association, an editorial board member of the Japanese Behavior Therapy Association and the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research. He is an invited speaker to many psychological and medical conferences in Japan and South Korea.

Michael C Paterson, OBE, PhD, DClinPsych, CSci, AFBPsS, is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland; he specializes in the treatment of traumatic stress in emergency service personnel. In addition to running a private mental health clinic, Michael has published articles on stress and trauma in the emergency services. He has also presented at international conferences and lectures on traumatology to postgraduate clinical psychology students at the Queens University of Belfast. Dr Paterson was honored by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II through being made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in her 2008 Birthday Honours List. Mark C. Russell, PhD, CDR USN (Ret), ABPP, is a Board certified clinical psychologist by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in clinical psychology and clinical child and adolescent psychology.  A retired Navy Commander/military psychologist with 26 years of uniformed service, former research assistant to Francine Shapiro, and the first EMDR Trainer in the Department of Defense (DoD).    Co-author with Charles Figley of "Treating Traumatic Stress Injuries in Military Personnel: An EMDR Practitioner's Guide (2013), with over 20 publications to his credit including two book chapters on EMDR treatment of war trauma.  Testified before the congressionally-mandated  DoD Task Force of Mental Health regarding efforts to prevent a military mental health crisis as chronicled by USA Today, including the lack of veteran’s access to EMDR training, research, and treatment in the military.  Organized and conducted seven joint DoD/VA EMDR trainings. Awarded the “Distinguished Psychologist Award” by the Washington State Psychological Association for efforts to transform military mental healthcare.  Currently chairs the Psy.D. program at Antioch University Seattle, and is the establishing Director of the Institute of War Stress Injuries and Social Justice, dedicated to ending cyclic failure in meeting mental health needs of war veterans.

Ludwig Cornil, MA, is a clinical psychologist who works in Belgium in a hospital setting and also in private practice. He’s the president of the Belgian Institute of Psychotraumatology and EMDR. He serves on the board of EMDR-Europe and is vice-president of the Humanitarian Assistance Program in Europe, which brought him to teach EMDR in Slovakia and China. He’s also a founding board member of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation. Ligia Barascout de Piedra Santa, Psychologist, is a Clinical Psychologist and Family Therapist from Guatemala, Central America, who maintains a private practice in Guatemala City. She specializes in treating PTSD with children, adolescents and adults. She uses EMDR to treat sexual abuse, rape, domestic violence, kidnapping, physical pain, torture and war issues. Since 1997, she has presented EMDR trainings in 10 different countries in Latin America. At the present time, she is coordinating and giving EMDR trainings in Central America and Panama. Kerstin Bergh Johannesson, Psych, is a clinical psychologist and senior supervisor of psychotherapy at the Uppsala University Hospital and researcher at the Swedish National Center for Disaster Psychiatry, Uppsala University. She is President of EMDR Sweden, a board member of EMDR Europe, and served on the board of the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She offers training and conducts workshops on EMDR throughout Europe. She teaches psychotraumatology and crisis intervention nationally and internationally and has contributed to book chapters.

Isabel Fernandez, PhD, is a clinical psychologist working in Milan. She has been trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and has been on the faculty of the Italian School of Cognitive Behavior for 8 years, providing specialtization training in psychotherapy. She has worked as a consultant psychologist at the psychiatric ward of Niguarda Hospital, conducting clinical research projects. She is a lecturer at the Catholic University of Milan and Rome and at the La Sapienza University of Rome. Currently, she is Director of the Psychotraumatology Research Center of Milan and has published many papers, articles and books on trauma, EMDR and other topics. She is chairman of the Italian Association of EMDR and a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Federation of Scientific Psychological Societies. She has organized interventions with EMDR in mass disasters (Milan's aircrash on Pirelli Building and Molise's earthquake) and has worked in cooperation with Civil Defense and Fireworkers to provide psychological support and trauma treatment for emergency workers. She trains graduates students and clinicians in trauma, EMDR and crisis intervention in Italy, Spain and South America.

Gary Quinn, MD, is Director of the Jerusalem Stress and Trauma Institute and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Ohio State University. He specializes in Crisis Intervention, the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, and the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder following military trauma, terrorist attacks and motor vehicle accidents. He is the Co-Founder and Co-Chariman of EMDR-Israel.

Esly Regina Carvalho, PhD, specializes in treating adult trauma, especially those related to sexual abuse, urban violence, psychosomatic illnesses, chronic pain, phobias and anxiety. An EMDR Trainer of Trainers, she helped establish the EMDR Iberoamerica (EMDR IBA), and EMDR regional board that brings together the national associations of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries.  She is a founding member of EMDR Brasil and EMDR Ecuador.  A Psychodrama Trainer accredited by the US Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Esly is a Psychodrama supervisor recognized by the Brazilian Federation of Psychodrama (FEBRAP), and founded the Psychodrama movement in Ecuador.  She has a long history of teaching, training, and supervision, and a career as an author and public speaker in demand in Latin America. As a Brazilian-American, she is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Ehud (Udi) Oren, PhD, is President of EMDR-Europe Association.  He is the Director of the Israeli EMDR Institute and teaches at Natal, Israel's Trauma Center for Victims of Terror and War. He specializes in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, the psychological aspects of physical illness, and PTSD. He is the Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of EMDR-Israel.

Deany Laliotis, LICSW, is a clinician in private practice in Washington, DC who specializes in the treatment of attachment disorders and developmental trauma. In addition to being a Senior Trainer, Deany offers advanced trainings in helping clinicians integrate EMDR as a comprehensive psychotherapy, particularly as it applies to attachment and relationship issues, self-esteem and complex trauma. Deany has also co-authored an article with Dr. Shapiro titled, EMDR and the Adaptive Information Processing Model: Integrative Treatment and Case Conceptualization, published in the Journal of Clinical Social Work. She is also the co-director of EMDR of Greater Washington, one of the EMDR Institute's Extended Training Programs.

Curtis Rouanzoin, PhD, is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of trauma and dissociative disorders. He completed EMDR basic training in 1992 and is a founding member and past President of EMDRIA. He is a co-director of the Traumatic Stress Network of southern California which provides EMDR workshops and extended Regional Trainings. His advanced clinical specialty workshops in the use of EMDR with Complex Trauma and Dissociative Symptoms have been presented nationally and internationally.

Arne Hofmann, MD, was trained in 1991 by Dr. Shapiro and became the first EMDR trainer in Europe. He teaches at the University of Cologne and researches on complex and acute trauma disorders. He is a member of a German scientific national guideline commission on PTSD and (founding) board member of several scientific trauma societies. Anthony Smith, M Psych (Clin), is in private practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Adelaide, Australia. He has extensive clinical experience in the areas of stress and trauma--an interest fed in part by his own service with an infantry battalion during Australia's involvement in the Vietnam War. Currently he focuses on the treatment of anxiety disorders, including acute and chronic PTSD, sexual abuse, and unresolved grief, sleep disorders and depression. He has been involved in teaching, training and supervision of psychologists for many years. He attended Dr Francine Shapiro's first EMDR training in Australia, and, subsequently, has become a Facilitatoar and Trainer of EMDR under her guidance. He has conducted EMDR trainings throughout Australia and overseas.

Andre Mauricio Monteiro, PhD, is a clinical psychologist who maintains a private practice in Brasilia, Brazil, where he specializes in treating PTSD, acute trauma and psychosomatic illnesses. As a Professor at the Catholic University of Brasilia, he teaches Crisis Intervention and supervises interns. Dr Monteiro is an active participant in the EMDR Ibero-American Team and one of the founders of EMDR-Brazil.
