Carolyn Settle, LCSW

Carolyn Settle, LCSW, is a psychotherapist, EMDR Institute facilitator and consultant, international speaker, author and researcher. She has been counseling children, adolescents, and adults for 40 years, and during that time she has worked in hospital settings, community behavioral health, and in private practice. She is trained in Gestalt therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Carolyn has co-authored the book and treatment manual, EMDR and the Art of Psychotherapy with Children; Infants to Adolescents 2nd edition, which includes detailed information on treating children, infants through pre-school and pre-teens and teens, and has also co-authored several chapters and journal articles about treating children and adolescents with EMDR therapy.
