Katy Murray, LICSW

Has a clinical and consultation practice in Olympia, Washington. Treating adults with a broad range of issues, she specializes in trauma-related disorders, chemical dependency, grief, and psycho-oncology. She is an EMDR Institute Trainer, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and the Institute’s Listserv Moderator. She served on EMDRIA’s Standards and Training committee from 2007-2012; and currently serves on the board of the EMDR Research Foundation and the Editorial Board of the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research. In 2017 her family initiated the EMDR Research Foundation Suicide Prevention & Survivor Support Fund in honor of her sister, Marcia Murray, who died by suicide. She received the Liz Snyker Award for Outstanding Service from Trauma Recovery/EMDR-HAP in 2018. She has presented at annual EMDRIA Conferences and authored several articles on EMDR therapy published in the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research.
